Furness LGBTQ+ youth group, brings people together to celebrate diversity and give young people a voice in our community. Our projects include planning and delivering the Furness Pride event which has become an annual event for our community, as well as Barrow Action for Trans Awareness, a social action project.

Barrow Action for Trans Awareness (BAFTA) is a social action project to raise awareness of gender inclusivity in the Furness area. Young people have created an inclusivity charter to recognise the commitments of organisations and services to promote gender inclusivity. Please contact us for more information.
